On February 1st, a public holiday Monday, Andrew, Siewmei, and me, went on a small photography trip to Morib, Gold Coast. Our last visit to Tanjung Sepat we totally missed the place. So this small trip is kinda consider a filler to the place.
Basically, there’s really nothing much there, or we didn’t do our research before going there. What’s there we saw was beaches, empty beaches, long stretch of empty beaches. Not to say it’s not nice la, but just a little too plain.
We first reached this place call Gold Coast Bagan Lalang. What they’re building here is something like what you saw in Dubai, the palm-tree-formationed chalet. The resort is call Golden Palm Tree Water Villas.
Can’t really see the shape of the formation when we’re at the same level as the resort. But the empty beach + the resort view is quite nice.
Waveless beach. If you really wanna see the wave, you’ll have to walk damn far out.
Was very hot. Luckily we got umbrella to avoid the burn.

It was 11:04am based on Siewmei’s shadow.

Arc made out of bamboos. How can not shoot? Hehe.

Siewmei resting under a pondok. Was too cooling to continue back out.
At the entrance of the Resort, there’s some Chinese New Year decoration. The photo looks so Chinese New Year feel!
I guess this boat was parked here when the tide is high.

Walked out to see if there’s something to shoot.
Reflections again~
You would think one crab is following the other one, but crab walks sideways la! They’re just both going to the same place.
A shell with a slightly bigger crab hidden inside. Waited so long for it to come out.
Still not coming out lor.
Looks at the holes on the beach. They’re all crab holes.
Oasis.
Mudskippers was skipping around with deadly paste.
After some beach walking, it was around 2pm already. So we went back to Tanjung Sepat and back to the same restaurant we had our lunch the last time.
Ordered the same food.
Ah Mei Mian Fen Gao. Customizable noodles.
After the lunch, how can we don’t go to the Pao shop and enjoy the famous Pao of Tanjung Sepat. This is my favourite, the peanuts Pao.
Hai Yew Heng, 海友興, people come from around Malaysia to enjoy their specialty here.
That concluded this small photography trip. A casual and relaxing one. Next time you thinking of going to the beach, Morib is another choice for you, no need go all the way to Port Dickson.

Why didnt visit ‘Morib beach’ / Pantai Morib as well ? It’s best to visit there in the sunset… Nice view at that time… XD

陈国伟 > Thanks! Actually this was an unplanned trip. So we didn’t do any research on where’s nice around that place. We simply drove around. Where’s Pantai Morib? Is it the same place?

Actually you’ll pass by ‘Pantai Morib’ on your way to Tanjung Sepat. There’s few baywatch towers & a lot monkeys there. That’s why i was wondering your pic#20 & #22 are taken there… XD

These were shot in 2 beaches, one is the Sepang Gold Coast and the other one is the Morib beach with towers and monkeys! And we were walking with a huge one all the way. haha
oo….no wonder i saw three outsider had a lunch at ah mei ’s stall there while i am dapao-inG~!

actually the food quite cheap le lo…after u add-on other ingredients…
outside city also dun have this kind of food..
unless u order a normal “mian fen gao” lo…very heap d…

Hi Yuki Sing, I’m sorry to tell you but all of our visits to Morid are all in one day, so we didn’t actually stay there. So I don’t have any contacts for the resort there. Sorry for not being able to help.

Thanks alot for your sharing. I will make a trip to survey. Seem like not necessary to pay rm300 to the sepang gold coast resort.. many nice view along morib to tanjung sepat correct? What time will be good? evening still nice? because i was thinking will shoot some photo at putrajaya at night after morib.
I believe it’s Sepang Gold Coast at Bagan Lalang, not Morib Gold Coast. Last three days i went to Sepang Gold Coast, Morib Gold Coast (not completed yet), Pantai Morib and Pantai Kelanang.
