Stella came back from Singapore last Friday, so she called us out for a Karaoke session on Saturday morning. Stella, Siewmei, Benny, and me was there for a 2 hours (only) K session. We sang from 11am to 1pm. First time singing with Stella and Benny, both of them was very good K kaki. Hehe.

So after the Karaoke session, me and Siewmei bought some cakes and went to Sri Petaling to meet her friends. It was a small but warm gathering for them since they’re friends since college days. Catching up with each others and talking about some women’s stuffs since one of their friend, Liz is pregnant with a baby girl. Congrats.

The place that we went at Sri Petaling, from outside it just looks like a normal 2 storeys house with a lot of cars parked both side of the road. But inside, it’s actually Oh-&-Ah, the shop. Why did we gathered there is because one of their friend, Teck Yew(I think that’s his name) is one of the owner of the shop.

They sell all sorts of nice, cute, old-skool, useful and pretty stuffs. From home decorations to clothes, personal accessories to toys. And a lot of their products are handmade also! This means they’re unique. I’ll leave their website to list down what they have to sell. Gonna share some(a lot) of the photos I took there.

X-Minimax

Bought this little gadget, X-Minimax that produce big sound. Thanks to Joe who bought it back for me from Singapore, cos there’s only the single speaker version here in Malaysia, which is more compact, but this one is stereo instead of mono.

Although this is not as compact as the single speaker version, but it’s not really that big, you can see they fit nicely into one palm of mine. Based on the specs sheet, you only need to charge it for 2-3 hours, and it’ll play for around 10 hours. I’ve been using it since for more than 5 hours now since the day i bought, and it still doesn’t need charging. Good for travelling.

Honestly, you have to hear it for yourself to feel how much it can give you. The tagline they’re using, “Minimum size. Maximum sound”, they really mean it.

But again it such a small speaker, so don’t expect it to sound as good as your Altec Lansing or Logitech. There’s some static noise that is produced by the speakers when there are sound playing, but you won’t really notice it if you’re not close to the speakers. Not sure whether is only my unit, or the other units are the same.

So, if you’re a traveller, and don’t like the idea of sticking your ipod headphones in your ears all the time, I highly recommend this product to you. Especially when you’re staying in your hotel, you still can enjoy your own music.

My first 2 Threadless tees have arrived to the office today! Finally!
Last 1-2 month ago, there is a sale going on in Threadless.com. Jook have an account in Threadless, so he good enough to let us tumpang his shopping cart… hehe…

These are the 2 tees i chose…

Their tag printed on the tee itself, cute…

The not so good thing about the tee is that the material feels a bit cheap.
The tees are a bit long now, let’s see how it’ll turn out after the wash.
