What you can see around the factory are logs lying all around in a very organized method.

Logs are arranged nicely for peeling.

After the charcoal factory, we went to this fishing village nearby. Need to take a 20 cents boat ride over to the island itself.

After the fishing village, we got a rare chance of visiting this prawn farm. And in the photo, is one of the boss and our guide. It was a very informative visit.

After the prawn farm, we actually walked into one of the mangrove forest that is built with walk ways and chalet for people to stay.

This is where we waited for our transport up Maxwell Hill. The ride was quite scary as the road conditions are really bad and only meant for their 4WD cars.

After walking around, we were tired and walk back to the place where the transport dropped up to wait for the transport back down. So since there’s some time, more portrait shooting! Hehe.

The sun was playing hide and seek with us for a while.

After some walking we went to Andrew parent’s coffee shop. Kokwai here trying to show us how to make coffee.

After the stop, we continue out shooting in a more secluded place call Papan (Wood) located further from Ipoh town.

A lot of abandoned houses can be found there.

After dinner we went to a temple. The festival of “Gau Wong Yeh” is happening that night, so there are some celebration going on.

The next morning, we went to this place opposite the famous back alley called “Yee Nai Hong” (Second Wife Alley) to have our breakfast. The custard which I was looking forward was sold out. But they still have this, tea with egg.

After breakfast we walk to the alley and started shooting.

One of the tallest flats in Ipoh. Famous for it’s suicidal rate. But now it’s secured with grill.

Had our last coffee, head to buy some sourvenirs and headed back to KL. Thanks Andrew for the place to stay, again.
